Core engineering

Elena Voss

Head of Infrastructure Architecture. She designs how Nexus is installed — on-premise, air-gapped, or on a designated sovereign-cloud estate.

Role

Elena owns the reference architecture a CISO and infrastructure committee will inspect: how IMTO feeds land, where the event bus sits, and how the stack runs inside a central-bank network without a public cloud dependency.

Background

Long-term contract infrastructure architect for payments and FMI platforms. Her brief is execution capacity — runbooks, network zoning, and handover packs for accredited SIs — not a slide-only enterprise-architect title.

She works with the Google Cloud and AWS designated-cloud options, colocation, and HSM partners when the buyer does not host on their own estate.

What this seat is for

On-premise and air-gap

Production default: the buyer’s data centre or sovereign cloud, including air-gapped variants.

SI enablement

Architecture packs the local integrator can install without a UK team on the floor every week.

Hotfix path

How a core-engine patch reaches a locked-down estate without breaking change-control.

Engagement

Retained Head of Infrastructure Architecture for Nexus.
