Work on the platform central banks run

Nexus is supervisory software for central banks and financial intelligence units. We are hiring the people who design it, take it to contract, and run it where the institution is.

Open roles

Engineering, the company, and in-country delivery

Roles in the United Kingdom and in the countries where Nexus is installed — from the executive team to on-the-ground operations.

United Kingdom

Leadership

Technology

Chief Technology Officer

Set the technical standard for Nexus: how it is built, secured, messaged, and released.

Apply

United Kingdom · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive · UK-based; travel to live estates as required

Role purpose

Inject Group Ltd licences Nexus, supervisory software that central banks and financial intelligence units run on their own estate. The Chief Technology Officer sets the technical standard for that product: how it is built, secured, messaged, packaged, and released.

This is not a generic digital-transformation seat. The postholder owns one engineering line — infrastructure, security, ISO 20022, and product delivery — and decides what belongs in the core versus what a local integrator may configure.

Success is a product a central-bank CIO can install, audit, and take a defect to, without discovering that the public story and the software disagree.

Accountabilities

Product and architecture

  • Define the core engine, APIs, and what stays out of the product so an SI cannot rewrite it.
  • Keep governor, FIU, operator, and admin workflows as one coherent system.

Security and sovereign deploy

  • Own on-premise, air-gapped, and designated-cloud install paths with Principal Security and Infrastructure Architecture.
  • Ensure identity, logging, keys, and break-glass work on an estate Inject Group does not operate.

Messaging and data

  • Hold the ISO 20022 models and supervisory fields that FIU staff actually open.
  • Refuse MT translations that drop originator, beneficiary, or travel-rule data.

Release and SI enablement

  • Run a signed release train an integrator can install under the buyer’s change board.
  • Make hotfixes and runbooks versioned with the product, not tribal knowledge.

Engineering line

  • Lead infrastructure, security, messaging, and delivery as one organisation.
  • Be the named technical counterpart a central-bank CIO can escalate a defect to.

External credibility

  • Own the technical answers in the NDA pack, tenders, and incident posture.
  • Keep every public claim inside what the software and the contract can defend.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Executive or senior leadership of a software product used in a regulated, sovereign, or high-assurance environment.
  • A record of shipping and operating complex systems — not only of writing strategy papers.
  • Experience separating a core product from local configuration and integrator work.
  • Working knowledge of identity, logging, encryption, and how those controls look off the public cloud.
  • Experience of ISO 20022, payments messaging, or an equivalent structured-data domain.
  • Built and held a multidisciplinary engineering organisation to a bar a buyer can audit.
  • Oversight of release, packaging, and how a patch reaches a locked-down estate.
  • Comfort briefing CIOs, procurement technical panels, and independent security reviewers.
Desirable
  • Supervisory technology, FMI, IMTO, or central-bank infrastructure.
  • Air-gapped or on-premise production in a public-sector buyer.
  • HSM, PKI, or comparable key-management estates (Thales, Entrust, or equivalent).

How we judge this role

  • A coherent architecture a buyer can install without a UK team on the floor every week.
  • Clear core-versus-configuration boundaries that survive the first SI engagement.
  • A release and hotfix path that works under the buyer’s change control.
  • NDA-pack answers that match the running software.
  • An engineering line that can take a live defect from a central-bank CIO.

Operations

Chief Operating Officer

Keep Inject Group and the regional delivery network running as one operation.

Apply

United Kingdom, with regional travel · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive

Role purpose

The Chief Operating Officer keeps Inject Group and the regional delivery network running as one operation: licence, installation, and 24/7 support as three clear workstreams, not one blurred promise.

Nexus is a UK product installed by accredited in-country partners. The COO holds those partners to coverage, incident communication, and the line between local operations and UK engineering.

When a live estate is under pressure, this seat owns how the company communicates and recovers — without absorbing work that belongs to the SI or to L3 product support.

Accountabilities

Operating model

  • Keep licence, implementation, and support as three workstreams a buyer can evaluate.
  • Make handover between UK OEM, regional director, and SI explicit in the file.

Regional delivery

  • Hold Middle East, West Africa, and East & Southern Africa directors to on-the-ground coverage.
  • Intervene when local operations start speaking as if they own the product.

Incidents

  • Own incident communication when a live estate is under pressure.
  • Route product defects to L3; leave local operations with the SI.

Service quality

  • Set the SLA the regional teams actually run, and the evidence that they ran it.
  • Stop support from becoming unpaid consulting on the buyer’s own infrastructure.

Company operations

  • Keep Doncaster, vendors, travel, and workplace logistics from blocking delivery.
  • Give the executive team an operating rhythm they can run without heroics.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior operations leadership of a multi-site or partner-delivered technology business.
  • Experience separating OEM product support from local implementation and managed services.
  • A record of running incident communication under contractual SLAs.
  • Experience holding regional or channel partners to named coverage, not goodwill.
  • Comfort with public-sector or regulated buyers and the evidence they expect after an incident.
  • Built operating cadences a small executive team can actually keep.
  • Travel to live sites without treating every visit as a rescue.
Desirable
  • System integration, managed services, or sovereign software delivery in MEA.
  • ITIL or equivalent service operations in a high-assurance environment.
  • Experience of 24/7 follow-the-sun support with a UK L3 backstop.

How we judge this role

  • Licence, install, and support stay distinct in every live account.
  • Regional directors can show coverage without a UK engineer on the floor.
  • Incidents have a named owner, a timeline, and a clean hand-off to L3.
  • Partners do not speak as if they own Nexus IP.
  • Company operations (office, vendors, travel) do not become the bottleneck.

Finance

Chief Financial Officer

Run the finances of a UK software company that licences to public buyers.

Apply

United Kingdom · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive

Role purpose

The Chief Financial Officer runs the finances of a UK software company that licences to public buyers. Statutory accounts, cash, and the pack the board can sign sit here.

Licence revenue, local implementation billing, and support must stay separable. A buyer — and an auditor — should be able to see which cash is OEM and which is in-country.

The postholder leads the finance team and sets the control environment a growing international contractor and retainer network can survive.

Accountabilities

Statutory and board

  • Produce accounts, cash, and reporting the board can sign.
  • Keep Companies House, tax, and audit evidence current.

Revenue architecture

  • Treat licence revenue separately from local implementation and support billing.
  • Recognise multi-year licences in a way a public buyer’s file can follow.

Control

  • Set delegated authorities, supplier control, and how retainers are paid.
  • Keep buyer infrastructure costs off Inject Group’s ledger unless the contract says otherwise.

Team

  • Lead finance manager, accountant, bookkeeper, and payroll as one function.
  • Give commercial and delivery numbers they can use in a tender, not a restated story.

Capital and risk

  • Advise the Chief Executive on cash runway, pricing discipline, and contract risk.
  • Ensure escrow, buyout, and term-licence economics are modelled before they are offered.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with executive or FD-level experience.
  • A record of statutory accounts, audit, and board reporting in a UK company.
  • Experience of software, licensing, or project-plus-product revenue that must stay separable.
  • Built a small finance function rather than only occupying a seat in a large group.
  • Comfort with public-sector contracting, retainers, and international suppliers.
  • Evidence of cash discipline and control in a growing company.
  • Ability to explain numbers to a non-finance executive and to an auditor.
Desirable
  • SaaS or perpetual-licence software sold to government or regulated institutions.
  • Multi-currency consolidation of in-country billing beside a UK OEM licence.
  • Experience of Companies House, PAYE, and contractor/retainer mixes.

How we judge this role

  • Board packs that land on the calendar and survive audit questions.
  • Licence cash is never mixed with SI or local-content billing.
  • A finance team that commercial and delivery can actually use.
  • Pricing and contract options (term, perpetual, escrow, buyout) have a financial owner.
  • No surprise tax, payroll, or Companies House failure.

Information security

Chief Information Security Officer

Own Inject Group’s security programme — Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and how we handle information.

Apply

United Kingdom · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive

Role purpose

The Chief Information Security Officer owns Inject Group’s security programme — Cyber Essentials today, the ISO 27001 programme in progress, and how the company handles its own information.

Product security on a buyer’s estate and company security in Doncaster are distinct. Both have to be strong. The CISO keeps that line visible and answers vendor questionnaires with evidence, not slogans.

This seat does not operate the buyer’s Nexus install. It makes sure Inject Group can be audited as a UK software company, and that product controls have a named engineering owner.

Accountabilities

Company ISMS

  • Run the ISMS the independent auditor will test, including Cyber Essentials maintenance and the ISO 27001 programme targeted for Q4 2026.
  • Name control owners and keep evidence packs that stand up without borrowed partner attestations.

Product versus company

  • Keep product security (on the buyer’s estate) distinct from company security (identity, devices, mail).
  • Work with Principal Security so NDA-pack answers match the software.

Assurance and questionnaires

  • Answer vendor security questionnaires with artefacts, dates, and named owners.
  • Refuse claims that sit on Google Cloud, AWS, Thales, or Entrust as if they were Inject Group’s.

Risk and incident

  • Report digital and cyber risk to the Chief Executive and the board in language they can act on.
  • Set the company incident path for Inject Group systems; product incidents on a live estate follow the COO and L3 path.

Team

  • Lead ISMS / Governance and Internal IT as company-side functions.
  • Instruct the independent ISO 27001 advisor without substituting their challenge for management.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior information-security leadership (CISO, Head of Security, or equivalent) in a software or regulated-services company.
  • A record of running an ISMS that has been audited — ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, SOC 2, or equivalent.
  • Experience separating product security on a customer estate from corporate IT.
  • Written vendor-assurance answers a public buyer will put in a file.
  • Comfort with on-premise and air-gapped constraints, not only cloud-native controls.
  • Built or led a small security function rather than only a large-bank GRC bureaucracy.
  • Clear communication of risk to executives who are not security specialists.
Desirable
  • ISO 27001 lead implementer or comparable certification.
  • Central-bank, FMI, payments, or other high-assurance buyers.
  • Experience of Cyber Essentials and UK NCSC-aligned programmes.

How we judge this role

  • Cyber Essentials stays current; ISO 27001 programme has a dated plan and named owners.
  • Questionnaires are answered with evidence, not marketing.
  • Product and company security remain distinct in org chart, evidence, and incident paths.
  • No borrowed attestations from hosting or HSM partners presented as Inject Group’s.
  • Internal IT and ISMS report a control environment the CISO will sign.

Sovereign relations

Chief Business Development Officer

Executive relationships across advisors, central-bank procurement committees, and regional SI principals — and the public briefing of Nexus.

Apply

United Kingdom, with MEA travel · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive

Role purpose

The Chief Business Development Officer owns executive relationships: advisors, central-bank procurement committees, regional SI principals, and how Nexus is briefed in public.

This seat fills the advisory board with independent commitment, not courtesy listings, and opens governor and FIU doors across the Middle East and Africa.

It is not a volume-sales role. It is the person who can sit with a committee, recruit a serious advisor, and keep OEM distribution terms with integrators who do not pretend to own the product.

Accountabilities

Advisory board

  • Direct outreach to Tier-1 candidates. Secure independent board commitment, not a courtesy listing.
  • Keep the advisory brief independent of delivery so challenge remains real.

Sovereign outreach

  • High-level meetings with governors, ministry of finance leads, and FIUs across MEA.
  • Open rooms the commercial team can then work, without substituting a briefing for a tender.

SI channel

  • OEM distribution terms with regional integrators, and local delivery nodes kept on the UK release train.
  • Protect the line between local delivery and UK intellectual property.

Public briefing

  • How Nexus is presented: telemetry and time-lock as an executive narrative, not an engineering dump.
  • Align with the CMO so the site, the room, and the file say the same thing.

Pipeline discipline

  • Hand qualified institutional conversations to the Chief Commercial Officer with a named next step.
  • Do not invent demand that procurement cannot evaluate.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Ex-Big 4 public-sector partner, former director of sovereign sales (SWIFT, Mastercard Government Solutions, Refinitiv, or equivalent), or former senior diplomat / trade envoy.
  • A record of opening and holding relationships with central banks, ministries, or equivalent public buyers.
  • Experience recruiting senior independent advisors or board-level specialists.
  • Comfort with OEM / SI channel terms that protect product IP.
  • Able to brief a payments or FIU committee without a glossary.
  • MEA travel and working across languages and protocol without theatre.
  • Evidence of converting access into a process commercial can run — not a personal black book.
Desirable
  • Arabic and/or French in addition to English.
  • Existing networks in GCC, West Africa, or East & Southern Africa payments supervision.
  • Experience of IMTO, PAPSS, BUNA, or comparable corridor institutions.

How we judge this role

  • Advisory seats filled with people who will actually challenge the product.
  • Named institutional conversations that commercial can work.
  • SI principals on OEM terms, not white-label fantasies.
  • Public briefing of Nexus matches the site and the NDA pack.
  • The Chief Executive is not the only person who can open a governor-level room.

Commercial

Chief Commercial Officer

Win and structure the Nexus licence with central banks and authorised resellers.

Apply

United Kingdom, with travel · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive

Role purpose

The Chief Commercial Officer wins and structures the Nexus licence with central banks and authorised resellers. Tenders, pricing, and the relationship after award sit here.

Licence, integration, and operations must remain separate line items a buyer can evaluate. The CCO builds a channel of accredited integrators who do not speak as if they own the product.

This seat owns the commercial file from first evaluation through signature — and the account thereafter, beside the in-country director.

Accountabilities

Tenders and pricing

  • Lead public-procurement responses with Bid Management, Legal, and Engineering.
  • Price licence, implementation, and support as three evaluable line items.

Contracting

  • Structure term, perpetual, handover, escrow, and buyout options as How to buy describes them.
  • Keep the website from being read as an offer.

Channel

  • Build and hold a channel of accredited integrators named in the file.
  • Stop partners from white-labelling Nexus or rewriting the core.

Accounts

  • Own the commercial relationship after award, beside the regional delivery director.
  • Route product defects to engineering without absorbing local operations.

Team

  • Lead bid, solutions, partnerships, and customer success as one commercial line.
  • Give the board a pipeline that distinguishes access from a scored tender.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior commercial leadership selling software or systems to governments, central banks, or other public buyers.
  • A record of winning and structuring licences, not only of running a sales team on quota.
  • Experience of public procurement, scoring, and three-layer contracting (product, implementation, support).
  • Built or run a partner / SI channel without losing control of IP.
  • Comfort with long cycles, committee evaluation, and NDA-gated technical packs.
  • Ability to hold pricing discipline when a buyer wants one blended number.
  • Travel to evaluations and signature meetings.
Desirable
  • MEA public-sector or FMI sales.
  • Experience of OEM software with local-content delivery partners.
  • Familiarity with UK Export or equivalent trade-finance mechanics.

How we judge this role

  • A pipeline the board can read: evaluation, tender, award — not a list of meetings.
  • Every live bid has licence, implementation, and support as separate lines.
  • Accredited partners named in the file; none speaking as OEM.
  • Post-award accounts have a UK commercial owner beside the in-country director.
  • Contract options match How to buy.

Marketing

Chief Marketing Officer

Describe Nexus the way a payments committee expects to read it: precise, calm, evaluable.

Apply

United Kingdom · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive

Role purpose

The Chief Marketing Officer describes Nexus the way a payments committee expects to read it: precise, calm, evaluable. The public story across the site, briefs, and events sits here.

Every claim has to survive a tender file. Certifications sit with the right party. Consumer-remittance theatre does not.

The postholder leads product marketing, content, events, brand, and the public site as one function.

Accountabilities

Public story

  • Own the institutional narrative: supervisory software, sovereign estate, UK OEM.
  • Keep telemetry, time-lock, and ISO 20022 in language a committee can brief.

Claims control

  • Keep certifications and operator attestations in the right place.
  • Nothing on the site that Legal cannot defend in a file.

Demand

  • Put the company in the rooms where central-bank and FIU evaluations start.
  • Hand qualified interest to commercial without consumer-marketing metrics.

System

  • Lead product marketing, content, events, brand, and webmaster as one line.
  • One set of facts for the site, the brief, the tender, and careers.

Brand

  • A visual and verbal system that looks like a UK software company selling to the state.
  • Work with product design; leave the consoles to product.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior marketing leadership for B2B or public-sector technology, not consumer growth marketing.
  • A record of institutional copy that has survived legal and procurement review.
  • Experience owning site, collateral, and events as one system.
  • Comfort explaining a technical product to non-engineers without slogans.
  • Built a small marketing function rather than only a large brand department.
  • Evidence of claim control: what we do not say is as important as what we do.
  • Able to work with commercial and legal without treating either as a blocker to be routed around.
Desirable
  • Payments, FMI, GovTech, or dual-use / high-assurance software.
  • Experience of Arabic or French institutional materials.
  • Public-sector events (IMF, AfDB, central-bank associations, or equivalent).

How we judge this role

  • Site, briefs, and tenders use one set of facts.
  • No claim of a certification Inject Group does not hold.
  • Events produce named evaluations commercial can work.
  • Careers, leadership, and How to buy do not contradict the product pages.
  • A marketing team that product and legal will actually review.

People

Chief People Officer

Hire and look after the specialists Inject Group needs in the UK and in-country.

Apply

United Kingdom · Executive · Reports to Chief Executive

Role purpose

The Chief People Officer hires and looks after the specialists Inject Group needs in the UK and in-country. Employment, retainers, and right-to-work sit here.

The hiring bar has to match the work: sovereign software, public buyers, people who will support live central-bank estates. Volume recruiting will not.

Duty of care includes contractors and retainers, not only PAYE staff.

Accountabilities

Hiring bar

  • Set the standard for specialists, executives, and in-country seats.
  • Keep careers copy honest: open seats and role personas, not a claim every name is in post.

Employment architecture

  • PAYE, retainers, and contractor status done properly with Finance and Legal.
  • Right-to-work, visas, and in-country engagement without informal workarounds.

Duty of care

  • Policies a company this size can actually run, including people supporting live estates.
  • A process a serious applicant will finish, and a response to every application.

Team

  • Lead talent, and work with the Executive Assistant and Office Coordinator on the company rhythm.
  • Advise the Chief Executive on organisation design as seats fill.

Inclusion

  • Assess on evidence for the brief. Do not add theatre to a specialist hire.
  • Keep candidate data as recruitment only.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior people leadership in a professional-services, software, or similarly specialist company.
  • A record of hiring scarce specialists, not only of running HR operations at scale.
  • Experience of UK employment law, retainers, and international contractors.
  • Comfort with a small company that still has to meet a public buyer’s vendor file.
  • Evidence of a hiring process that serious candidates complete.
  • Able to hold a bar when a founder wants a seat filled quickly.
  • Discretion with executive and candidate information.
Desirable
  • MEA hiring, secondments, or in-country contractor frameworks.
  • Experience in payments, FMI, or other high-assurance sectors.
  • CIPD or equivalent, used in practice rather than as a badge.

How we judge this role

  • Open seats have a real brief and a process that finishes.
  • Employment / retainer status is correct in every case Finance can audit.
  • Every application receives a reply.
  • Leadership and careers pages stay consistent with who is actually in post.
  • People supporting live estates have a named duty-of-care owner.

Product

Infrastructure

Head of Infrastructure Architecture

Design how Nexus is installed — on-premise, air-gapped, or on a designated cloud.

Apply

United Kingdom · Leadership · Reports to Chief Technology Officer · Travel to buyer data centres as required

Role purpose

The Head of Infrastructure Architecture designs how Nexus is installed — on-premise, air-gapped, or on a designated sovereign cloud. Production default is the buyer’s estate.

The job is to make an SI able to install from an architecture pack, and to make a hotfix reach a locked-down estate without breaking change-control.

This seat does not run the buyer’s hall. It defines the reference architecture, the variants, and the evidence that an install matches the contract.

Accountabilities

On-premise and air-gap

  • Specify production default: the buyer’s data centre or sovereign cloud, including air-gapped variants.
  • Document network, identity, and update constraints a locked-down estate will actually impose.

SI enablement

  • Architecture packs the local integrator can install without a UK team on the floor every week.
  • Acceptance tests that prove the install, not a slide.

Hotfix path

  • How a core-engine patch reaches a locked-down estate without breaking change-control.
  • Work with Product Delivery on signed artefacts and staging data.

Designated cloud and colo

  • Where a named cloud or Equinix hall is used, keep operator attestations with the operator.
  • Do not let a designated-cloud option become the implied production default.

Evidence

  • Diagrams and install notes that belong in the NDA pack and the implementation agreement.
  • Keep reference architecture distinct from a claim of exclusive reseller status with GCP, AWS, or Equinix.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior infrastructure or solutions architecture for on-premise or air-gapped production systems.
  • A record of packaging installs for a third party (SI, integrator, or in-country operator).
  • Experience of identity, networking, and update paths on estates you do not operate.
  • Comfort with sovereign-cloud and colocation variants without treating them as the default.
  • Written architecture that a public buyer’s technical panel can score.
  • Able to work with product security and release engineering as one install path.
  • Travel to halls and sit with the buyer’s infrastructure team.
Desirable
  • Central-bank, FMI, defence, or other air-gapped production.
  • Kubernetes, signed artefact distribution, or comparable packaging for disconnected estates.
  • HSM or network-HSM integration at the infrastructure layer.

How we judge this role

  • A documented install path for on-prem, air-gap, and designated cloud.
  • An SI can complete a first install from the pack.
  • Hotfixes have a path the buyer’s change board will accept.
  • NDA-pack diagrams match what we actually ship.
  • No implied claim that Inject Group operates the buyer’s hall.

Product security

Principal Security Engineer

Harden the product: identity, logging, keys, and how those controls look in an air-gapped install.

Apply

United Kingdom · Leadership · Reports to Chief Technology Officer

Role purpose

The Principal Security Engineer hardens the product: identity, logging, keys, and how those controls look in an air-gapped install.

This is product security on the buyer’s estate, not the company ISMS. The postholder designs controls that sit in front of a Thales or Entrust HSM the buyer already operates.

Technical answers that feed the vendor security pack after NDA are part of the job.

Accountabilities

Product controls

  • AuthN/AuthZ, audit trails, encryption in transit and at rest, and break-glass on a sovereign estate.
  • Role separation for governor, FIU, operator, and admin consoles.

HSM integration

  • How payment and TLS key material can sit in a Thales or Entrust module the buyer already operates.
  • Keep application config free of keys that belong in hardware.

NDA pack evidence

  • Technical answers that feed the vendor security pack issued after NDA.
  • Align with the CISO so company and product answers do not collide.

Threat and review

  • Threat model the core and the SI boundary.
  • Review releases for control regressions before they are signed.

Guidance

  • Raise the security bar of backend, frontend, and infrastructure without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Document what an SI must not turn off.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Principal or staff-level product security engineering, not only GRC.
  • A record of identity, audit, and encryption on systems deployed onto a customer estate.
  • Experience of HSM, PKI, or comparable key management (Thales, Entrust, or equivalent).
  • Written technical assurance a buyer’s CISO will read.
  • Comfort with air-gapped and on-premise constraints.
  • CISSP, or equivalent evidence of practice, used rather than displayed.
  • Able to work with a CISO without substituting product work for the ISMS.
Desirable
  • Payments, FMI, or supervisory software.
  • Common Criteria, NCSC, or similar evaluation experience.
  • Air-gapped logging and time-sync designs.

How we judge this role

  • Product controls that work on an estate we do not operate.
  • HSM integration that a buyer can point at in the file.
  • NDA-pack answers that match the running software.
  • Release reviews catch control regressions before signature.
  • SIs cannot silently disable the controls the contract describes.

Messaging

Lead ISO 20022 Specialist

Own the message models FIU staff open: native pacs.008, pacs.009, and camt.053.

Apply

United Kingdom · Leadership · Reports to Chief Technology Officer

Role purpose

The Lead ISO 20022 Specialist owns the message models FIU staff open: native pacs.008, pacs.009, camt.053, and related MX.

Supervisory fields — originator, beneficiary, travel-rule completeness — must survive ingest. An MT translation that drops them is a product defect.

The postholder also defines how a local integrator maps operator and RTGS feeds onto the core without rewriting the schema.

Accountabilities

Native MX

  • Ingest pacs.008 / pacs.009 / camt.053 / pain.001 without dropping supervisory fields in an MT translation.
  • Keep versions and variants explicit so an SI cannot invent a private dialect.

Travel-rule data

  • Originator and beneficiary completeness for FIU review while the payment is in flight.
  • FATF R.16-relevant fields treated as first-class, not optional comments.

SI mapping

  • How a local integrator maps operator and RTGS feeds onto the core without rewriting the schema.
  • Mapping packs and sample messages versioned with the release.

FIU usability

  • What an analyst actually opens — not only what validates against an XSD.
  • Work with product on consoles that show the fields supervision needs.

Standards watch

  • Track ISO 20022 maintenance and corridor-specific usage without chasing every market rumour.
  • Advise commercial when a tender asks for a message we do not yet ingest.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Deep working experience of ISO 20022 MX in production, not only of SWIFT documentation.
  • A record of mapping operator, RTGS, or IMTO feeds onto a canonical model.
  • Understanding of travel-rule / originator-beneficiary completeness for AML/CFT review.
  • Able to write mapping specifications an SI can implement.
  • Comfort explaining message choices to FIU and payments-supervision audiences.
  • Experience of versioning schemas and sample data with a release train.
  • Precision: fields either survive or they do not.
Desirable
  • pacs.008, pacs.009, camt.053, pain.001 in live payments or oversight systems.
  • PAPSS, BUNA, SADC-RTGS, or GCC RTGS message usage.
  • CBPR+ or HVPS+ implementation experience.

How we judge this role

  • Native MX ingest that preserves supervisory fields.
  • SI mapping packs that do not fork the schema.
  • FIU consoles show the data analysts need.
  • Tenders are answered with what we ingest, not what we wish we ingested.
  • Sample messages stay versioned with the product.

Releases

Head of Product Delivery

Run the release train: what ships, how a hotfix is signed, how an integrator receives it.

Apply

United Kingdom · Leadership · Reports to Chief Technology Officer

Role purpose

The Head of Product Delivery runs the release train: what ships, how a hotfix is signed, how an integrator receives it.

Versioned core drops must be installable under the buyer’s change board. Hotfixes are for defects local operations cannot patch around.

SI enablement — runbooks, staging data, acceptance tests — is part of delivery, not a documentation afterthought.

Accountabilities

Release train

  • Versioned core drops the SI can install under the buyer’s change board.
  • A calendar engineering, commercial, and regional directors can plan against.

Hotfixes

  • Signed patches for defects that local operations cannot patch around.
  • A path from L3 reproduction to signed artefact without informal builds.

SI enablement

  • Runbooks, staging data, and acceptance tests so onboarding is not tribal knowledge.
  • Work with Technical Writer so the pack matches the bits.

Quality bar

  • Hold QA, SRE, and engineering to a release that a locked-down estate can take.
  • Stop features from shipping without the install path.

Team

  • Lead backend, frontend, mobile, QA, SRE, L3, and enablement as the delivery organisation under the CTO.
  • Protect the train from being rewritten by every tender.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior delivery or engineering-management of a shipped software product with a release cadence.
  • A record of signed or otherwise controlled releases into customer-operated estates.
  • Experience of hotfix and change-control under a buyer’s board, not only CI/CD on a cloud you operate.
  • Built enablement (runbooks, staging, tests) that a third party can follow.
  • Led a mixed team of engineers, QA, and support.
  • Comfort saying no to scope that would break the train.
  • Able to work with a CTO on what is core versus what waits.
Desirable
  • On-premise or air-gapped release engineering.
  • Public-sector change boards or CAB processes.
  • ISO 20022 or payments-platform delivery.

How we judge this role

  • A release train SIs can install from.
  • Hotfixes are signed and traceable.
  • Runbooks match the current version.
  • QA and SRE are on the critical path, not afterthoughts.
  • L3 has a path into the next drop.

Product

Product Manager

Shape the consoles governors, FIU analysts, and operators actually use.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Chief Technology Officer

Role purpose

The Product Manager shapes the consoles governors, FIU analysts, and operators actually use. A supervisory brief becomes workflow here.

The job is to prioritise what belongs in the product versus local configuration, and to write acceptance criteria the release train can test.

This is not a growth-product seat. The user is a public official under pressure, not a consumer.

Accountabilities

Workflow

  • Turn a supervisory brief into screens and states a governor or FIU analyst can run.
  • Keep CB, FIU, operator, and admin journeys distinct.

Scope

  • Prioritise what belongs in the product versus local configuration.
  • Protect the core from becoming a custom project per buyer.

Acceptance

  • Write criteria the release train can test.
  • Sit with QA and delivery until the criterion is real.

Evidence

  • Work with design and engineering on figures a committee can be shown.
  • Keep product copy aligned with marketing and the NDA pack.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Product management of a workflow product used by professionals, preferably in regulated or public-sector settings.
  • A record of turning domain briefs into shipped consoles, not only of roadmaps.
  • Experience of writing testable acceptance criteria.
  • Comfort with saying no to local custom that belongs with the SI.
  • Able to work with engineers and designers without becoming a project coordinator.
  • Clear writing; the brief is the artefact.
Desirable
  • Payments supervision, FIU, AML, or FMI products.
  • ISO 20022 literacy.
  • Experience of air-gapped or on-premise products.

Platform

Senior Platform / Backend Engineer

Build and maintain the Nexus core: APIs, event path, and datastore.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Head of Product Delivery

Role purpose

The Senior Platform / Backend Engineer builds and maintains the Nexus core: APIs, event path, and datastore.

Supervisory fields must survive under load. Packaging for air-gapped estates is part of the engineering job, not someone else’s later.

You ship the engine licensed to the buyer, not a prototype that only runs in our cloud.

Accountabilities

Core engine

  • Ship APIs, event path, and datastore the consoles and SI feeds depend on.
  • Keep supervisory fields intact under load.

Packaging

  • Work with SRE so the same bits install on-prem and air-gapped.
  • No hidden cloud dependencies in the licensed core.

Quality

  • Tests and observability a locked-down estate can still use.
  • Defects from L3 get a reproduction and a fix on the train.

Boundary

  • Keep SI configuration out of the core.
  • Document what an integrator may call and what they may not fork.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior backend or platform engineering on a production system.
  • A record of APIs, data stores, and event processing under real load.
  • Experience packaging software for environments you do not operate.
  • Strong testing habits; you do not outsource correctness to QA.
  • Able to read a payments or supervisory data model without pretending to own the standard.
  • Clear written design notes.
Desirable
  • Go, Java, or equivalent systems languages in production.
  • ISO 20022 or similarly strict message pipelines.
  • Air-gapped or on-premise deployments.

Consoles

Senior Frontend Engineer

Build the CB portal, admin, and the Governor, FIU, and timelock consoles.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Head of Product Delivery

Role purpose

The Senior Frontend Engineer builds the CB portal, admin, and the Governor, FIU, and timelock consoles.

Interfaces have to work under pressure, with clear separation of roles. Evidence, not decoration.

This is institutional UI: density, auditability, and calm, not consumer engagement.

Accountabilities

Consoles

  • Governor, FIU, operator, and admin interfaces a supervisor can use under pressure.
  • Role separation enforced in the UI, not only in copy.

Evidence

  • Work with design on figures and states that match the product, not a marketing still.
  • Accessible, keyboard-complete workflows.

Integration

  • Consume backend APIs without hiding failures.
  • Time-lock and alert states that are honest about latency and gaps.

Quality

  • Tests for the workflows we claim.
  • Performance on the hardware a hall will actually provide.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Senior frontend engineering of complex professional consoles, not marketing sites.
  • A record of role-separated, audit-relevant UI.
  • Experience working with design systems without treating them as decoration.
  • Comfort with dense data, tables, and exception states.
  • Strong accessibility and keyboard habits.
  • Able to work against a real API and real failure modes.
Desirable
  • Payments, supervision, operations, or other high-stakes consoles.
  • Experience of air-gapped frontends (no CDN assumptions).
  • Design-engineering pairing on evidence figures.

Field

Mobile Engineer

The field app for staff working on-site with operators and supervisors.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Head of Product Delivery

Role purpose

The Mobile Engineer builds the field app for staff working on-site with operators and supervisors.

Connectivity will be poor. Workflows still have to complete. This is not a consumer companion app.

Security and role constraints follow the same product bar as the consoles.

Accountabilities

Field workflows

  • Reliable on-site workflows when connectivity is poor.
  • Honest sync: what is queued, what has landed.

Security

  • Device and identity constraints the CISO and Principal Security will accept.
  • No production keys on personal devices.

Parity

  • Do not invent a second product. Field flows map to the same core.
  • Version with the release train.

Support

  • Diagnostics L2 can use without flying a UK engineer.
  • Crash and sync evidence that L3 can reproduce.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Mobile engineering (iOS, Android, or a serious cross-platform stack) in production.
  • A record of offline or intermittently connected workflows.
  • Experience of enterprise identity and device constraints.
  • Able to work with backend and security as one product.
  • Clear about what the field app is not: a second Nexus.
Desirable
  • On-site operations, inspection, or similar field tools.
  • MDM / enterprise distribution.
  • Air-gapped or restricted-network mobile.

Detection

Detection / Data Engineer

Scoring for APP fraud and FX capital flight on live messages.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Chief Technology Officer

Role purpose

The Detection / Data Engineer builds the analytics and detection path that turns IMTO telemetry into something an FIU or supervisor can act on.

Time-lock, corridor views, and alerts have to be explainable. A black-box score is not a supervisory product.

This seat sits with the CTO because detection is product, not a side experiment.

Accountabilities

Detection

  • Signals a supervisor can explain in a file, not an opaque score.
  • Time-lock and in-flight completeness as first-class events.

Data path

  • Pipelines that preserve supervisory fields from ingest to console.
  • Performance on an estate we do not size like a hyperscaler.

Evaluation

  • Work with product and ISO 20022 so detections map to real messages.
  • False-positive discipline: noise is a defect.

Packaging

  • Models and jobs that ship with the release, including air-gapped constraints.
  • No silent call-home.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Detection, data, or applied-ML engineering on production alerting or oversight systems.
  • A record of explainable signals, not only of model leaderboards.
  • Experience of pipelines that must not drop fields.
  • Comfort with constrained, on-premise compute.
  • Able to sit with FIU or fraud-ops users and hear what is actually useful.
  • Clear writing about what a detection does and does not claim.
Desirable
  • AML, fraud, or payments surveillance.
  • Streaming telemetry or ISO 20022 analytics.
  • Experience of air-gapped model distribution.

Quality

QA / Release Test Engineer

Prove a release is safe to put on a locked-down estate.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Head of Product Delivery

Role purpose

The QA / Release Test Engineer makes sure a drop is installable and the workflows we claim actually run.

Acceptance is against the brief and the estate, not against a happy-path demo.

You are on the release train, not a gate that appears after engineering is bored.

Accountabilities

Release test

  • Test the drop an SI will install, including unhappy paths.
  • Air-gap and on-prem constraints in the plan, not a footnote.

Acceptance

  • Trace tests to product criteria.
  • Refuse a release that only works on a developer laptop.

Regression

  • Keep a suite that catches control, message, and console regressions.
  • Automate what should be automated; sit with the rest.

Evidence

  • Write the test evidence a buyer’s CAB can read.
  • Work with L3 so production defects become tests.

Who this is for

Essential
  • QA or release-test engineering on a shipped product.
  • A record of testing installs, not only UI scripts.
  • Experience of writing evidence for change boards or regulated buyers.
  • Comfort blocking a release.
  • Able to work with engineers without becoming their secretary.
Desirable
  • On-premise or air-gapped products.
  • Payments or supervisory software.
  • Security-control regression testing.

Release engineering

Release / SRE Engineer

Signed builds, air-gap packages, and the path a patch takes out of Inject Group.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Head of Product Delivery

Role purpose

The Release / SRE Engineer packages Nexus so it can be installed, updated, and diagnosed on an estate Inject Group does not operate.

Signed artefacts, staging data, and the hotfix path sit here with Product Delivery.

This is not a cloud-SRE seat that pages on a fleet we own. It is release engineering for sovereign installs.

Accountabilities

Packaging

  • Signed, versioned artefacts an SI can take into a hall.
  • Reproducible builds; no mystery binaries.

Install and update

  • The path from first install to hotfix under the buyer’s change board.
  • Staging data that does not leak production.

Diagnostics

  • Logs and health a locked-down estate can still export to L3.
  • No requirement to open the hall to our SaaS.

Reliability bar

  • Work with infrastructure architecture on what ‘up’ means when we are not the operator.
  • Capacity and failure notes in the runbook.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Release engineering, SRE, or platform engineering for software deployed onto customer estates.
  • A record of signed artefacts, installers, or equivalent controlled distribution.
  • Experience of diagnostics without standing in the customer’s network.
  • Comfort with air-gapped constraints.
  • Strong scripting and packaging habits.
  • Able to work with QA and L3 as one path.
Desirable
  • On-premise products, appliances, or disconnected estates.
  • Supply-chain signing (Sigstore, Notary, or equivalent).
  • Payments or high-assurance software.

Design

Product Designer

Make supervisory software readable: dense when it must be, quiet when it can be.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Product Manager

Role purpose

The Product Designer shapes the consoles a governor, FIU analyst, and operator will actually sit in.

The job is evidence and workflow, not a marketing layer on top of engineering. Brand stays with marketing.

Density, hierarchy, and calm under pressure matter more than novelty.

Accountabilities

Workflow design

  • Governor, FIU, operator, and admin journeys that match how those rooms work.
  • Exception states designed, not left as red banners.

Evidence figures

  • Stills and flows a committee can be shown without embarrassment.
  • Work with frontend so the figure matches the product.

System

  • A product UI system the consoles share.
  • Leave the public site visual system to brand design.

Research

  • Sit with domain advisors; do not invent a consumer persona.
  • Accessibility as a requirement, not a polish pass.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Product design of professional or institutional software, not only consumer apps.
  • A record of dense, high-stakes workflows shipped with engineering.
  • Experience of designing exception and empty states.
  • Able to produce figures that survive a briefing.
  • Comfort being corrected by domain specialists.
  • Strong visual and interaction craft without decoration for its own sake.
Desirable
  • Payments, supervision, operations, or other regulated consoles.
  • Design systems used by multiple role-separated products.
  • Experience briefing public-sector audiences.

Support

L3 Product Support Engineer

The UK backstop when a product defect is beyond the in-country team.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Head of Product Delivery

Role purpose

The L3 Product Support Engineer is the UK backstop when a product defect is beyond the in-country team.

Reproductions come from regional L2. Fixes go into the signed release train. Support stays distinct from local operations.

You do not become the SI. You close product defects.

Accountabilities

Triage

  • Take reproductions from regional L2 and close them in the core.
  • Know when it is configuration, environment, or product.

Fix path

  • Feed fixes into the signed release train.
  • No informal patches that bypass Product Delivery.

Boundary

  • Keep support distinct from local operations.
  • Do not absorb hall work that belongs to the SI.

Knowledge

  • Write what L2 needs so the same defect does not return as a mystery.
  • Work with Technical Writer on known-error notes.

Who this is for

Essential
  • L3 or product-support engineering on a shipped enterprise or sovereign product.
  • A record of reproducing defects from a remote operator’s notes.
  • Experience of feeding fixes into a release train, not hotfixting production by SSH.
  • Able to say ‘that is the SI’s environment’ and be right.
  • Clear written tickets and known-error articles.
  • Calm under a live-estate incident without taking over the hall.
Desirable
  • Payments or supervisory software.
  • Air-gapped diagnostics.
  • Experience of follow-the-sun with regional L2.

Enablement

Technical Writer / SI Enablement

Write the runbooks and packs an integrator can install from.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Head of Product Delivery

Role purpose

The Technical Writer / SI Enablement role writes the runbooks and packs an integrator can install from.

Install notes, hotfix notes, and security answers have to match what the software does and be versioned with it.

The language has to be something a public buyer can put in a file.

Accountabilities

Runbooks

  • Clear install and hotfix notes, versioned with the product.
  • Procedures an SI can follow without a UK engineer on voice.

Assurance copy

  • Security answers that match what the software does.
  • Work with Principal Security and the CISO on the NDA pack.

Institutional English

  • Language a public buyer can put in a file.
  • No marketing residue in a runbook.

Release coupling

  • Docs ship with the drop. A stale pack is a defect.
  • Sample data and acceptance checklists stay in sync.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Technical writing for installable software, preferably for integrators or operators.
  • A record of versioned runbooks, not only of blogs or API reference generated from code.
  • Comfort with security and architecture material a buyer will file.
  • Precise English; you will be edited by legal and engineering.
  • Able to sit with engineers and extract the procedure they actually run.
  • Experience of keeping docs on a release cadence.
Desirable
  • Public-sector or high-assurance products.
  • ISO 20022 or payments documentation.
  • Experience of SI / OEM enablement packs.

Bid / Proposal Manager

The written response a public buyer actually evaluates.

Apply

United Kingdom · Full-time · Reports to Chief Commercial Officer

Role purpose

The Bid / Proposal Manager owns the written response a public buyer actually evaluates.

Licence, implementation, and support must appear as three line items. Every claim stays inside the public story and the contract.

Quality before a document leaves the company is the job, not speed for its own sake.

Accountabilities

Response

  • Assemble licence, implementation, and support as three evaluable line items.
  • Run the calendar, contributors, and version control of the file.

Claims

  • Keep every claim inside the public story and the contract.
  • Escalate anything that would need a product we have not shipped.

Quality

  • Review before a document leaves the company.
  • Red-team the file the way a scoring committee will.

Library

  • Maintain reusable, dated answers with named owners.
  • Work with Legal so boilerplate matches current terms.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Bid or proposal management for public-sector or similarly scored tenders.
  • A record of multi-contributor responses that won or were scored, not only of templates.
  • Experience of keeping technical, legal, and commercial inputs consistent.
  • Ruthless about claims.
  • Calm under a deadline without shipping an undefendable sentence.
  • Clear ownership of version control.
Desirable
  • Central-bank, FMI, or GovTech tenders.
  • APMP or equivalent used in practice.
  • Experience of three-layer OEM + SI + SLA bids.

Apply

United Kingdom, with travel · Full-time · Reports to Chief Commercial Officer

Technical briefings with payments, FIU, and infrastructure stakeholders sit here. Product questions go to the named engineering lead.

The demo has to match how the institution will actually deploy.

Accountabilities

Briefings

  • Run technical sessions with payments, FIU, and infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Match the demo to on-prem, air-gap, or designated cloud as the file states.

Triage

  • Take product questions to the named engineering lead.
  • Do not invent a feature in the room.

Discovery

  • Capture estate constraints that Bid and Architecture need.
  • Write notes a tender file can reuse.

Integrity

  • The demo is the product, configured — not a parallel prototype.
  • Refuse consumer-remittance theatre.

Who this is for

Essential
  • Pre-sales or solutions engineering for complex software sold to institutions.
  • A record of technical briefings that survived a sceptical infrastructure audience.
  • Able to map a buyer’s estate to a reference architecture without rewriting the product.
  • Comfort saying ‘that is configuration’ versus ‘we do not do that’.
  • Travel to evaluations.
  • Clear written discovery notes.
Desirable
  • Payments, FMI, or supervisory technology.
  • ISO 20022 literacy.
  • Experience of air-gapped demos.

Apply

United Kingdom, with travel · Full-time · Reports to Chief Commercial Officer

  • Remove partners who cannot show coverage or who speak as OEM.

IP boundary

  • Protect the line between local delivery and UK intellectual property.
  • OEM terms, not white-label.
